BMW is busy winter testing with two new models – and both of them will likely be front-wheel drive. The next-generation X1 crossover has been spied previously, and is due in 2015, but we see it tackling the snow alongside a new niche car called the ‘FAST’ (Family Active Sports Tourer).
A similar-looking prototype was first spied back in 2012, but it has seemingly been delayed while other new modles are introduced. The new car appears to blend design aspects of the newly released 2 Series Active Tourer MPV with the X1 in a sportier, sleeker package. Previously, BMW has also been testing a seven-seat version of the Active Tourer.
