The X2 will ride on the X1’s UKL platform and will provide a coupe-like alternative to the new X1 (F48) just as the X4 does for the X3 and the X6 does for the X5, which means the X2 will also share an interior with the new X1.
BMW M4 by Hamman was spotted in Germany. Here we are folks with the upcoming BMW M2, the model which was long-rumored, discussed and debated, now being caught on shots by spy photographers from Inautonews online auto magazine, while undergoing some tests on snowy roads.
The BMW M2 will be coming as the 2016 year model and will be officially launched at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show in September and will represent the 2-Series Coupe`s hot top of the line version. The German based carmaker will first introduce the version as a concept, before entering the production line this November.
BMW is busy winter testing with two new models – and both of them will likely be front-wheel drive. The next-generation X1 crossover has been spied previously, and is due in 2015, but we see it tackling the snow alongside a new niche car called the ‘FAST’ (Family Active Sports Tourer). The successor to the present BMW’s 7 Series (F01 / F02), the new Bavarian luxury sedan (internal code G11 / G12). There are plenty of new elements making their appearance in the next 7er’s cabin, including the standalone screen for the infotainment system and what looks like BMW’s latest digital instrument panel and touch-sensitive controls for the air-conditioning system, but overall, the dash has a familiar feel to it. The 2015 BMW Series 1 has popped-up in a rendering signed by the famous designer Theophilus Chin, highlighting the sporty model, before its official unveiling next year, at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show.
As opposed to other renderings, showcasing some models just in terms of visuals, the 2015 BMW 1-Series is coming big time, and might use some of the key components seen in the rendering.
