BMW Group achieves new sales record in November

Munich. November saw global demand for BMW Group vehicles increase to a new record high. Worldwide, a total of 188,342 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles were delivered (prev. yr. 174,992 / +7.6%). In the first eleven months of the year, sales of BMW Group vehicles totalled 1,902,699, an increase of 7.1% on the same period last year (prev. yr. 1,777,012).

BMW Motorrad already outperforms the previous year’s record sales as of November 2014!

Munich. As of November, BMW Motorrad has sold 7,0 % more vehicles than in the equivalent period of the previous year. 116,463 (prev. yr.: 108,872) motorcycles and maxi scooters were supplied to customers worldwide. As of November 2014, this already puts sales above the record figure achieved in 2013 overall (as of December 2013: 115,215 units). In November BMW Motorrad sold 7,411 units (prev. yr.: 7,342 units). BMW and Toyota develop Lexus LFA successor?!

The latest rumor launched by Australian Motoring publication claims that the result of their collaboration will be a successor to the current LFA.

Citing an unknown source within BMW and Toyota, the mag reports that a supercar project has already received the green light from both boards of directors and will enter into the development phase.

After more than two years, BMW and Toyota signed a partnership, and details of the agreement between the two companies were revealed along the way.

Beside the exchange of engines between them, BMW and Toyota are reportedly planning to work on a model shrouded in mystery.

A car model of this sort would enter a fierce competition with the Mercedes SLS AMG or the Honda NSX.
